Supercharge your Boos for the new iPhone Podcast app with Audioboo Plus
The big news in the digital audio world this week is the release of a new Apple podcast app for iOS (or iPhone and iPad to you and me). It’s significant because previously to listen to podcasts natively on iOS you had to plug your phone into your computer and synchronise them with iTunes. I’m sure iTunes users will agree with me when I say that it could be charitably described as like pulling teeth.
So this is good news – as it means you’ll be able to listen, subscribe and download on the go. If you’re an Audioboo Plus user this is good news too – it’s possible to get your Boos listed on the iTunes podcast directory so they’ll be available in this new app.
Audioboo Plus users get the following iTunes enhancements:
- Use your Audioboo profile picture on iTunes
- Change the category your Boos are listed under
- Up to 30 minutes per Boo rather than the regular 3
- Listing on the largest and most popular podcast directory
