#FeBOOary goes global!

Three days into the FeBOOary boo-per-day challenge and it’s been wonderful getting to know lots of new Audioboo friends. In case you haven’t already heard, we’re encouraging you to create a new audioboo each day, a bit like the NaNoPoMo month-long podcasting challenge that takes place in November. It’s been a lot of fun already and I’ve heard some great stories from people. If it’s still February, then it’s not too late to join us, so why not give it a go? The more the merrier!

To make it a bit easier for you, we have a list of suggested topics to get you going. There’s no need to follow them if you’ve got ideas of your own, but we just thought it might be nice to share different experiences and stories on a range of themes. We’re still looking for suggestions for the next few weeks, so please, if you’ve got an idea, drop us a line – on the blog, on Facebook or on Twitter.

FeBOOary Week One: Suggested topics

FeBOOary 1st – How about an introduction, where are you from? Why have you decided to take part in FeBOOary?
Feb 2nd – Tell us a story about what you wanted to be when you grew up – and did you manage it?
Feb 3rd – Think of a time when someone did something kind for you (big or small) and tell that story
Feb 4th – Send us an audio postcard from wherever you are, talk us through what you can see and what’s going on
Feb 5th – Talk about something that interests you, can you teach us something new?
Feb 6th – Which New Year’s resolutions have you already broken – or have you kept them all
Feb 7th – Interview someone – you pick the questions!

We’ve got people all around the world taking part in #FeBOOary, and you can see some of their boos on this special FeBOOary map. If you want your boos to be included do make sure you add a location, either drop a pin on the map before you upload online, or ensure geolocation is switched on on your smartphone. If you forgot to add your location don’t panic! Log into your account on audioboo.fm, click on the boo title and click “edit”. You’ll then have the option to add a location in. Go for it!
