Reflecting on the riots – a busy Week at Boo HQ (w/c 08.08.11)
Well it certainly wasn’t my usual week at work. With riots breaking out across the country, Audioboo became a great place for people to tell their stories, share their thoughts and post their content.
We served tea to police, listened to impassioned rants and got-to-be-heard-to-be-believed interviews with looters, heartbreaking stories and police updates. Not to mention the “Stop the Riots’ anthem from UK rapper Tayong, so you’ll have to forgive us for being somewhat distracted.
