We like sharing!
Exciting news boo fans! You can now share Audioboos from the new iPhone app with a simple tap of a touchscreen.
We’ve been listening to your suggestions and top tech Jonathan del Strother has been working hard to bring you iPhone version 2.1 which has a number of improvements that users have been asking for.
Sharing
The new app gives you a “share” option on every boo page. Choose from Twitter, Facebook, email and more to tell your friends about that great bit of audio you heard.
Pending Uploads
Have you ever recorded a boo, closed the app and forgotten it was still awaiting upload? Now a nifty little indicator will show up on the “My Boos” button on the home page, warning you if you’ve still got boos that are awaiting upload. Simple, but effective.
(It has certainly made Audioboo user Sm2n happy!)
Stereo Recording
For those of you who like to hear the world in stereo, you’ll be pleased to hear that we’ve now enabled recording in stereo from external mics for iPhones. You’ll need a special microphone (eg. a mikey) that plugs into the dock connector but then you’re ready to go.
We hope you like the new and improved version of the app and rest assured that we’re working our way through the wish-list of ideas that you’ve sent in.
