Hot on the heels of coming back jetlagged this Monday (and a week late due to the flights problems in Europe), our very own CTO, Jonathan Del Strother, delighted me today by casually saying he’s updated our Facebook options available in the Settings menu at audioboo.fm.

“I suppose you have to be techy and find the ID number of your fanpage on Facebook and paste that into a text field” my was reply.

He leans over, goes to my Settings and… oh my oh my!

You can now choose, once you’ve linked your account to Facebook, to post to your main account, or alternatively to any fanpage or group you own or belong to. Answers a lot of requests we’ve had recently. Very powerful methinks and we’re still mulling over the possibilities.

Of course my immediate response to Jon was: “This would be fantastic in the app itself on a boo by boo basis”. I ignored the rolling of eyes and instead mentally added it to the growing list of yet more stuff we need to do to make audioboo the simplest, most completely useful and hopefully awesome way of posting audio to the web and the social networks you find important.
