We’ve just pushed the latest release to the server and it’s what a lot of you have been asking for – comments.
Just in time, it seems, since today has seen some serious audio play offs between ‘Vision‘ and ‘Sexyboo‘. Let’s hope that being able to respond both in writing and by a boo will make the experience that much more compelling.
A slightly undocumented feature is the ability to embed a boo in a comment. Just find the number in the URL of the boo you want to embed and type boo: number. You can continue to add text comment both before and after the embed.
Other news is that we’ve managed to inject the image associated with a boo into the iTunes podcast feeds. And Jemima Kiss has crafted a lovely little piece about people using Audioboo at the Guardian site.

Technical questions here: Any possibility of including a field in the iPhone app that will also allow the iTunes lyrics tab to get updated? Also, the description field ends up looking like this:
